New local key worker housing is said to be on track for completion mid next year.
Five houses are currently being built in Renmark, which forms part of a State Government push to free up more regional rental properties.
Housing Minister, Nick Champion said ‘Creating homes for essential workers will relieve some of the stress on regional rental markets which in many cases often have zero vacancies’.

Once complete, the houses will provide accommodation for health, education or SAPOL workers.
