Costs climbing to see the Dentist

Findings from Cleanbill’s health of the nation report has revealed the cost of seeing the dentist locally is above the state and national average.

Data collected from 24 dental clinics through the Barker electorate found the cost of a standard clean and check to be $252.

The state average cost sits at $237, with the national figure at $229.

Barker’s average cost makes it the highest in the state per electorate.
