Sunday’s hot conditions didn’t deter racers trying to win the 2025 Riverland Dinghy Derby.
The local sport dates back to the early 1980’s, with this year seeing a high rate of attrition in the 30hp sports class.
Just five teams in the top class completed the race, with the difference between first and second under 10 seconds.

After over an hour of navigating the River and creek sections it was the team of Kodi Morena & Douglas Mowbray who claimed the win, making it back to back wins.
