Fire danger season dates have now been set for most parts of the state, including the Riverland.
The Riverland Fire District will see the fire danger season run from the 1st of November 2024 to the 30th of April 2025.
CFS Director of Community Risk and Resilience, Alison May, said Bushfire Management Committees have reported that, as predicted, dry conditions have seen all landscapes cure faster than an average spring.
