Bowling under lights will soon be a lot brighter at the Monash Bowling Club.
The club was one of 41 clubs across the state to pick up a share of the $5.5M State Government Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program.
The $20,000 project in Monash will see LED lights replace an older system which have served the club for decades.
The same funding program will also see new thermal pool covers installed at the Loxton Swimming pool costing $41,000.
Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing, Karine Hildyard said “By upgrading and developing local sporting clubs and recreation facilities, more members of the community can come together to connect, be active and enjoy a sense of belonging through sport”.
