The Berri Club held a special general meeting last Saturday to update all members and the public of the clubs current governance.

Attendees were advised that the present board had voluntarily stood down and nominations for a new board were sought during a break in the meeting.

Members were asked to volunteer their time where possible and nominate for positions on multiple committees.

Nominations for the board were called for and nine vacant positions were all filled immediately by locals.

Susan Yabsley was officially appointed the new manager position of the club on a voluntary basis.

The Business Committee have undertaken the task of putting together a Financial Rescue package for the Club, presenting their plan to the board within the next fortnight.
