Barmera Keeping South Australia Beautiful

DSC 1996 X3

Off the back of Barmera’s triumph as the overall winner of the 2016 Keep South Australia Beautiful Sustainable Community Awards in Adelaide last year, the Riverland town is now in the running for the national awards.

National judges, including veteran Mrs Jill Grant, are visiting Barmera this Thursday and Friday to take notes for the final decision for the National awards. The awards recognise dedication, effort and motivation to enhance local regional and rural communities.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Tasmania in mid May.
