Man beaten and burnt in Brisbane assault

A 64-year-old man was allegedly beaten and burned with a lighter and aerosol can over a two-hour period following an argument with two other men at a Brisbane address.

He escaped and raised the alarm before being transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital where he was treated for burns to his arms, legs, scalp and face.

A 42-year-old and 44-year-old man have been charged with multiple offences including torture and will appear in court on Sunday having been granted conditional bail.
